The vision of ECAC is to provide a conducive legal and policy framework to create trust in electronic transactions with the Country.

The Mission of ECAC is to ensure security of the e-Commerce / e-Governance through enforcement and regulation of Encryption/PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) and establishing TRUST through use of Accredited Digital Signatures.

• Facilitate rather than regulate e-commerce
• To ensure security of the e-Commerce / e-Governance through enforcement and   regulation of Encryption/PKI (Public Key Infrastructure).
• Establishing TRUST through use of Accredited Digital Signatures.
• To facilitate all Regulators and Appropriate Authorities such as SBP, NADRA, SECP, FBR, PTA, ECP, etc. for use of Digital Identity for integrity of electronic transactions as per guidelines spelled out in ETO-2002 and global best practices.
